Going to church can often feel awkward: Who will we know? How can we serve? Small group Bible studies at Christ Church are a great way to get to know God better as we dig deeper into God’s word and they also help us to get to know and care for one another better and to help one another prayerfully to chew over what it means for us in practice day by day.
We recognise that our Wednesday evening small groups will not work for many people. Therefore, we also run a men’s Bible study group on a Tuesday morning before work and a ladies group mid-morning on a Thursday.
Tuesday Morning Businessmen’s Breakfast
Some of the men from Christ Church find the only time they can meet to study the Bible is before work on a Tuesday morning from 0715-0830.
We meet for coffee, to study the Bible and to encourage one another to live for God in our workplaces and in our homes. If you’re interested in joining us, please email Mark on
Wednesday Evening Small Groups
Each week, from 7.15-9.15pm on Wednesday evenings, members of Christ Church meet to share a supper and study the Bible together in small groups. Our aim is to help one another to know and love the Lord Jesus Christ, to speak the truth in love and so to grow in maturity rooted and built up in Christ, to serve the church and the wider community and to share the love of Christ with others.
Our Wednesday evening small groups are clearly gospel-centred in all we do and a fun environment, with regular socials, events and a couple of weekends away each year. If you’re interested in finding out more, please email
Thursday Morning Fellowship (TMF)
Some of the ladies from Christ Church meet from 1030-1200 on Thursday mornings in term time. Newcomers are always welcome. We enjoy catching up over coffee, caring for one another and chewing over part of the Bible together.
Please email Claire if you would like to join on
